An apprenticeship with bildxzug offers you a wealth of opportunity. During your apprenticeship, you will move partner-companies up to three times, giving you a chance to familiarize yourself with different company cultures and different industries. Successfully completing a vocational education and training (VET) program will open many doors to your future success.
This model is perfect for you if you want to change partner-companies during your apprenticeship to get to know different industry sectors and company philosophies. Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll receive coaching and support from a competent bildxzug VET trainer. In your partner- companies, you'll be given practical training by hands-on trainers, who are all experts in their field.
What we expect from you
We expect you to be open to new and unfamiliar experiences, to be able to think and act like a team player, and to be ready to stand on your own two feet and show initiative. You will have a secondary school, highest level with good marks and will have a consistent and excellent record of achievements.
What you can expect from us
If you pass the selection process, we will sign an apprenticeship contract with you. bildxzug will act as your host-company and will remain responsible for you for the entire duration of your apprenticeship. You will receive your practical training during placements in partner-companies within the bildxzug network. Depending on the status of your apprenticeship and your performance objectives, you will normally move to a different partner-company after one or two years. We'll also prepare you to embark on your professional career with a number of specific internal workshops.

Are you sure what profession it’ll be, and do you want to start your apprenticeship with us? If so, we’d be delighted to receive an online application from you. We need you to send the following documents:
  | Letter of application and letter of motivation The letter of application is where you apply for the apprenticeship position. Refer to the profession you’re interested in and bildxzug. The letter of motivation is where you explain what made you decided on this profession. You’ll also write about the strengths, skills and abilities that qualify you for the profession. It’s up to you whether you write this down in two separate documents or combine all the information in one document. Use your own style – don’t use templates or fancy quotes from the Internet. |
 | Curriculum vitae This is where you list key information about you in table format. This includes: personal details, schools, languages, IT knowledge, hobbies and references. |
  | Diplomas and certificates These include all your school reports, language diplomas and aptitude tests (Stellwerk, Multi-Check, Basic-Check). It’s absolutely essential that you send us your school reports or your Academic Baccalaureate/Matura certificate. If you haven’t taken an aptitude test, or don’t have a language diploma, no problem, you can still apply to us. |
  | Other attachments Have you already done a trial apprenticeship or work placement such as a vacation job? If so, make sure you attach all the trial apprenticeship reports and certificates of employment to your application. They could really help with your application. |
If you manage to impress us with your application, we’ll invite you to an interview. Make sure you prepare for the meeting thoroughly and think about questions you’d like to ask us. Don’t worry if you feel nervous before the interview – it’s entirely normal. But be yourself at the meeting – don’t pretend to be someone you’re not.

Information events
Are you interested in an apprenticeship with bildxzug? Our team would be happy to answer your questions and provide detailed information about the apprenticeships available and how the networked apprenticeship training and education system works.
Information events are usually held in German between the months of August and November. If you’d like to attend one in English, please call our reception.
Trial apprenticeship
Our trial apprenticeships (Mediamatics and Commercial) usually last for two days, during which time you'll be supported and accompanied by bildxzug apprentices. The idea is to give you a taste of what it's like to do an apprenticeship in your chosen field and to show you how bildxzug is organized and how exactly a networked apprenticeship with us works. Anyone who meets the criteria for an apprenticeship with bildxzug is eligible to apply to do one of our trial apprenticeships first. A limited number of places are available.
